I’m Kelsey from Charlottesville, VA. I’m a former ESOL/Math/Makerspace/Engineering/Technology teacher and am currently a Learning Technology Integrator for Albemarle County Public Schools (think Tech Coach for teachers). I’m here to learn more about LCL and I’m hoping that the structure and accountability of the course help me make more time to dive in. I’m also hoping to get better at Scratch during the Wednesday workshops! Excited to meet and learn from you all!

My name is Thais, I’m from Curitiba (a city in the south of Brazil) and I work in the pedagogical team of the Brazilian Creative Learning Network. I love this course/community and I am curious about the reflections and the different perspectives that will emerge in this round after two years of a pandemic, in which we were shaken in many aspects of our lives, including education. I’m passionate about science and technology education, media literacy, and non-formal education… oh, and coffee, movies, and travel. I’m so excited to start the week , and can’t wait to learn from you all!

I live in Minnesota, USA and teach Game Design & Development, art & animation at the college level. Also currently pursuing a MFA degree in Design with interest in engagement, curiosity and play.
