Hello from Sarasota, Florida, USA! For over a decade I was a member of our school’s leadership team and an educator in a middle school science classroom. I currently work with the Scratch Foundation as a consultant, providing outreach services to the Scratch Education Collaborative. I am enrolled in a master’s degree program for curriculum and instruction using educational technology. As an educator, I provided opportunities for students to actively engage in their learning. My classroom was both problem-based and project-based. I joined the LCL course to enhance my ability to design an effective learning environment, and I am excited to learn creative learning!

Sou Laís Perini, de Joinville-SC. Formada como professora de Física, inicialmente, mas, arrebatada pela pesquisa em educação e cultura, com uma quedinha em formação docente, espaços de aprendizagem horizontal e robótica educacional.
Atualmente trabalho como consultora em análise de currículo e formação docente, implementação de projetos de cultura maker em ambientes de educação (formal, não formal e informal), proposição de projetos no campo das interfaces entre ciências e artes (como componentes de cultura), gestão de ambientes de aprendizagem horizontal (realizado em parceria com o FabLab da cidade) e tutoria de estudantes com dificuldades de aprendizado (o que prefiro categorizar como inadequação ao modelos educacionais aos quais estão inseridos).
Além de todo o aprendizado possível nas trocas digitais, procuro potenciais pares físicos nesta rede. O objetivo é expandir as atividades realizadas dentro da cidade/região e encontrar parceiros de trabalho para futuros projetos… quem sabe até pensar em intercâmbios de cultura e imersões.
