Hi I go by Jasmine, and my official name in Mandarine is Ching-chi Hsu (徐靜琦). Currently I live in Pune, India and teach in a private university. I’ve been teaching in India since 2015.
Before coming to India, I lived in Boston and worked in public accounting, business analysis and product management fields.
I am passionate about integrating technologies into teaching and learning and creating an environment to empower all types of learners.
This is such a diverse space. I am very excited about joining this community and learning from everyone.

Hello @theothersaeed I do not follow the project anymore because I moved to another country. We started with the value of the open source creating an open space.
We started to reflect that public libraries needed to find another way to stay relevant. Our Hack-Maker Space in the public library creates new opportunities for sharing experiences and ideas, new relationships with users and contributing to open knowledge.
We promoted in our library activities for all people regardless of age, ethnicity, religion, social and cultural background,

Hello, I am Shauna and I live in Florida (USA). I am trained as a Mathematician and Computer Engineer and consider myself a lifelong learner. I taught at an IB elementary school and then moved on to high school teaching Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS) and Mathematics at another International Baccalaureate school. Now I teach coding and robotics and coach FIRST LEGO League robotics teams. Teaching and mentoring students is my Life Work. I am partial to teaching from an inquiry and play based constructivist educational philosophy and a whole child development perspective. I am excited to be here to contribute and learn in a peer based setting.

Hi, this is Engr. Wasiu Oyedepo from Oke Lisa in Imota LCDA Lagos Nigeria. I’ve a degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Industrial automation. I am also a Tech Teacher. I have taught in private schools both at the primary and secondary level in the past. I was also a student tutor during my undergraduate years at the university.
Presently I’m the lead tutor for Future Today Edutech Hub. We engage underserved learners in Gamify Education to develop critical-thinking/creativity, collaboration/communication at a living-cost on/off line. we run “code to learn” classes, boot camps and competitions (on/off line) aimed at developing Gamified skills for underserved learners in our hub and in alliance with community based organization, to offer same to their underserved members most especially girls and young women . We are at present working among underserved children and youth between the ages of 5 and 18 as well as teachers in five countries namely: Nigeria, UK, USA, Republic of Ireland, and Saudi Arabia. We have guided over two hundred and twenty learners (students and teachers) in gamify education from low income families with a 75% registered female in 3 years in our hub and via our online portal in alliance with community based organization, private and government Institutions and Ministry.
I’m here to unlearn, relearn and collaborate on new creative opportunities.

Hi, Yulia! So far, I’m still using my cell phone camera for my photography, but it does a great job of capturing the lighting, textures, and colors of the flowers. I can easily post my photos on social media so my friends can see them, and its has helped me develop my observation skills as both a scientist an an artist.

Hey everyone! My name is Mike and I’m a passionate English as a foreign language teacher. I live and work on Lesvos island in Greece. My teaching context involves me working at a private language school usually teaching young learners of English. I love playing all sorts of games and roleplaying in my classroom which is normally an active space full of noise and a love of learning.

Thank you @JayElf for you like. From your intro we share a lot in common. I love scratch also. My students love it. I have guided well over two hundred students on scratch. But like you said there is still more to learn.
If I may ask how can one use interactive learning to encourage reserved students come out to talk! I need help on this!!!

I dont know where I have been that I have not heard of these, but THANK YOU for sharing!!! :) My B.S. is in Applied Mathematics and Computer Engineering. I used to use my final year college math classes to learn the syntax of new coding languages so Turtle Geometry is right up my alley.
