Hi there!
I must say that I didn’t teach in the regular education system, so it is hard for me to answer.
I was an English teacher and in that case the schools always focus on the grammar more than on the actual use of the language (which is unfortunate). This is not how I structure my lessons, but I worked in a place that believed in a more fun way of learning.
In terms of the Education system, like any system it is highly structured in terms of the material and level the children need to get to, but I remember the lessons as very dry. :stuck_out_tongue:
